Communication over the internet has many forms. Pretty much everyone who uses the internet has an email address (personal and professional), have a social networking account (facebook, myspace, twitter) and have an Instant Messenger account (AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, ICQ, etc). Some people have multiple account of these. Managing all these accounts is not a difficult task but, is time consuming. Having to go to several different websites, open various programs on your computer only eats away at your computer’s performance.
I recommend for anyone with multiple accounts like myself (several email addresses to manage, social networking accounts, as well as IM clients) to use an application called Digsby. It is a centralized Email, IM, MySpace, and Facebook application and is 100% free AND easy to use. Currently, I have AIM, Facebook Chat, my Facebook account, MySpace account, twitter, and Gmail all connected through Digsby. It also has pop-up notifications to let you know of any updates that take place on your accounts you set up (with new messages on IM, you can reply directly from the pop-up notification).
Check it out at Digsby.com
